In addition, the lens is equipped with a new integrated ventilation system that improves air circulation through and around the lens. This contributes to clear vision, especially in situations with high humidity.
X6 Curvature
The X6 version features a wider lens, ideal for athletes who prefer a more generous fit. We classify this lens as a medium to large size, optimal for individuals with average head size, weighing over 200 pounds and over 6' tall.
Sweatbar & Nosepiece
The Top Gun model has an integrated sweat strip made of extra soft rubber, which is placed above the eyebrows to improve ventilation and airflow on the back of the lens. This feature is designed to minimize fogging on the back of the lens. In combination with our new "ICE" coating, the effect is particularly effective.
The lens tapers towards the sides of the temples, allowing shooters wearing hats to take full advantage of the design. The Top Gun model also uses a brand new high performance silicone nose design in the shape of a crystal saddle. This nose piece distributes the weight of the goggle over a larger area, making the goggle almost unnoticeable. The material also ensures that the lenses sit securely on the face with superior comfort.
Interchangeable lenses
The Top Gun lens design provides 25% more lens area and greater coverage in the shooter's peripheral vision. The center of the lens is designed to allow the shooter to see more of the lens when aiming, as the integrated weld bar is placed horizontally above the eyebrow. The distance between the nose and the temple creates a wider viewing window compared to the standard Outlaw X6. The visual picture is exceptional.
Interchangeable temples
The Top Gun uses the Outlaw X6 frame and, like the Outlaw X6, is available in two different styles: fixed geometry and fully adjustable with our exclusive Copa hinge technology. Both styles of temples are made from high-performance rubber compounds, titanium and carbon fiber. The temples snap in and out of the sides of the lens mask to make it easy to change to the desired lens filter.
Note: CXL or XW frames are not compatible with the Top Gun lens design.
Bow hinge
The temple hinge slides under the Perno pin to create a leverage effect to attach the temple to the lens. It is important to place the temple underneath the pin rather than on top of it, allowing the hinge to slide under a milled mushroom head. This locks the temple securely in place.
