Eye Science
Eye fatigue is an area of sports science that is often overlooked by athletes, coaches and support staff. In shooting sports, eye fatigue can mean the difference between a gold medal and no medal. In collaboration with ZEISS, we have developed a technology that enables eye fitness management and provides athletes with consistent eye energy over extended periods of time.
By using PILLA ZEISS lenses, our proprietary lens technology, we can offer the athlete a clarity that can only be found in Pilla products.

Clear picture
Our commitment to excellence is based on using optically correct lenses with precise color filtering and providing optically perfect frame systems. Eye fitness is ensured by using a lens substrate that does not produce a distorted visual image, thus avoiding the eye's constant stress of adjustment. A poor-quality lens substrate causes the eye muscle to constantly focus on sharp images, similar to constantly lifting weights. Eventually, the muscle tires, and the same goes for the eye.

Correct lighting
PILLA Performance Eyewear is a pioneer in light management in shooting sports. The human eye's optimal performance is achieved when the right amount of light is received. An imbalance, be it too much or too little light, leads to eye strain and impaired focusing. Our PILLA ZEISS lenses are specially designed to ensure the ideal amount of light in different lighting conditions while maximizing color perception. This keeps the eye relaxed and allows for improved performance.

Improved color perception
For professional athletes, being able to capture specific colors quickly and clearly is a key competitive advantage. One example is our Max Orange color profile family, which can provide an athlete with up to a 600% increase in the orange part of the visual spectrum. Through close collaboration between the Pilla and ZEISS engineering teams, we have developed the most defined and vibrant lenses ever created, while maintaining our own approach to improving color definition for the athlete.
